🍖 D'Best BBQ Grand Opening
D’Best BBQ, the popular BBQ truck that usually sets up in West Palm’s Historic Northwest District, is opening their first ever brick and mortar location. You can find them next to Hamburger Haven at 1022 N. Tamarind Ave, West Palm Beach.

🚧 State Road 7 extension is coming soon
Despite ongoing legal challenges, the FDOT plans to move forward with the extension of State Road 7. This project has been in the works since the 1990s, but WPB officials have opposed it at every step. The extension will run from 60th Street North to Northlake, cutting through Grassy Waters Preserve. Construction is set to begin in fall 2027 and is expected to be completed by fall 2031.

🌮 New Mexican spot in Delray
Talkin’ Tacos, the viral Mexican restaurant known for their birria tacos, is opening its third Palm Beach County location in Delray. The grand opening will be tomorrow at 6pm, and the first 100 customers will get a free order of birria tacos. You can check them out at, 551 Linton Blvd, Delray Beach, where Tijuana Flats used to be.

🐄 Royal Palm Beach Chick-fil-A closes
The Chick-fil-A in Royal Palm closed its doors yesterday for a full remodel. The renovation is expected to take a few months, with plans to reopen sometime this fall. In the meantime, the Chick-fil-A inside the Wellington Mall will now open at 8 AM to serve breakfast until 10:30 AM.

Adoptable Pets

This week, meet Dolly, an adorable Mini Poodle/Shepherd mix puppy with tons of playful energy. She’s just a little goofball who loves playing outside and hanging with other pups. Next we have Lupe, a sweet old girl who’s been through a lot. She lost both of her eyes to an infection, but has adjusted like a champ. She’s not the cuddly type or one to seek constant attention, she prefers to roam on her own terms.
