🏗️ Parking garage coming to Lake Worth
Parking has always been an issue in Lake Worth, but it looks like that’s finally changing. The City of Lake Worth Beach has approved plans for a new parking garage in downtown LW, located on K Street near Lilo’s. It’s expected to be completed in 2026.

🍽️ After almost 20 years, The Buccaneer is back
The Buccaneer Waterfront Bar & Grill was once the place to be in the 1950s. After going through some difficult times in the early 2000s, the restaurant eventually closed. Fast forward about 20 years, and after a major renovation, it’s back. The restaurant reopened last week, though a resort and marina are still in the works.

🍝 New Italian restaurant in Boynton
The owners of DeLuca’s Chophouse in Boca have expanded their ventures with a new Italian restaurant in Boynton. DeLuca’s Italian Kitchen and Bar officially opened last week.

📚️ New Barnes & Noble 
A new Barnes & Noble opened this week in Tequesta, making it the sixth store in Palm Beach County.

🏖️ No Swim Advisory for Dubois Park
High levels of enterococcus bacteria were found in the waters near Dubois Park in Jupiter this week, but the park and beach will remain open. There will be an update before the weekend so keep an eye on their Facebook page for that.

🧑‍🎨 Calling all artists
Old School Square in Delray Beach is looking for a new logo and inviting local artists to submit their designs. The winner will receive $5,000.

COFFEE SHOP OF THE WEEK

Composition Coffee | West Palm Beach

This weekend, I stopped by Composition Coffee after a few friends kept telling me that they have the best iced matcha in West Palm. Personally, I am not a fan of matcha which has been the craze lately. But I was like if their matcha is that good, then I imagine their coffee has to be delicious too. I read a few reviews on Yelp and Google and decided to give it a shot.

Composition Coffee is a little hidden, and I actually love that. It gives the place a secret, locals only feel. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially when it gets busy since there are limited spots right in front of the shop. I’d suggest parking on the street if you want to avoid the hassle.

Overall, this place is awesome. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area and a very warm, cozy interior with a second floor. The perfect coffee shop to settle in and get some work done. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I was there on a Saturday morning so it got really busy, but they went through the lines quickly.

I’m not a coffee aficionado or anything, but every once in a while, I do love a good Cortado or Latte. I had a hot brown sugar latte, and it was delicious–one of the best I’ve had. Their pastries looked amazing, but sadly, I didn’t get one. I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I won’t miss out. I highly recommend checking them out if you happen to be in the area.
