🏡 First time homebuyer program
If you’re looking to purchase your first home in Palm Beach County, this might be worth checking out. The county’s Department of Housing and Economic Development is offering a program that can provide up to $100,000 in assistance for things like a down payment, new construction, acquisition and closing costs. To qualify, you must be a first time homebuyer (or haven’t had a mortgage in your name for three years). The property’s purchase price cannot be more than $568,557, and there are also income requirements. Check out the link above for more details.

🌮 New Mexican restaurant opens on Clematis
I can’t believe I forgot to include this in last week’s newsletter. Tacos del Cartel, a lively Mexican restaurant, opened its first Florida location in downtown West Palm Beach. I walked by it last weekend and it was packed and very lively. You can find them at 533 Clematis St, West Palm Beach.

☕ New local mobile coffee shop
Driftwood Coffee, a new local mobile coffee shop, is making its debut this weekend in Boynton. They’ll be popping up around town, so be sure to follow them to see where they’ll be next. They’re also available for private events. You can catch them this Saturday, July 19, from 8 AM to 12 PM at 1320 S Federal Highway, Boynton Beach.

Adoptable Pets

Say hello to Chico, an adorable Chihuahua mix pup who might be a bit shy at first, but once he's comfortable, that classic Chihuahua spirit shines through. He’s playful, confident, and always ready to soak up some love.

Now meet Calamity Jane, a sweet little kitten who’s had a rough start to life, but you’d never know it from her playful and curious nature. She’s a little explorer with a big heart!
